Ride beautiful off-the-beaten-path tracks winding through Jbel Saghro and the southern Atlas Mountains, moving from one stunning valley to the next. Another unforgettable adventure awaits!

Ride on a Cimatti Scrambler or a Cimatti Bobber, both 125cc. A motorcycle license is required for the Scrambler, and a car driver’s license is required for the Bobber. Some riding experience is recommended for both.

With our guide, support vehicle, and Outdooractive tracks on a smartphone provided by us, you’re all set for the journey. After a day of riding, enjoy a cool beer by the pool and relax in the sun at one of our carefully selected accommodations.

Upon your arrival at Ouarzazate airport, we will be there to pick you up and provide a quick 10-minute transfer to Hotel Karam Palace. From there, you can enjoy stunning views of the palm gardens and the river of Ouarzazate or a cold beer at the pool. At 20.00 hrs, we will gather for a delightful dinner and a general briefing at the hotel.

If you are flying into Marrakesh, we would be happy to arrange a taxi transfer for you. This transfer will take you across the magnificent High Atlas Mountains and bring you to the beautiful Ouarzazate hotel. The journey typically lasts around 3.5 hours.

Morning – Your first taste of off-road

After breakfast, it’s time to meet your bikes. Following a quick introduction, we leave Ouarzazate behind and soon swap the asphalt for dusty tracks, with the High Atlas Mountains providing an impressive backdrop.

The little bikes quickly show what they’re capable of as we tackle a mixture of bumpy pistes, sandy riverbeds and winding tracks through the countryside.

Afternoon – Into the mountains

As the scenery becomes more mountainous, we continue along remote tracks before eventually joining a winding asphalt road for the final ride towards Skoura.

A late lunch awaits at our beautiful eco-lodge, where the rest of the afternoon is yours. Cool off in the pool, book a hammam or simply put your feet up after your first day on the bikes.

Morning – Into the Jbel Saghro

Breakfast at 08:00 and departure at 09:00. After stopping in Skoura to refuel, we head towards the spectacular Jbel Saghro Mountains.

As we leave Skoura behind, the landscape becomes increasingly remote and the villages fewer and farther between. We ride through wide-open mountain scenery before stopping for a traditional lunch at Mohamed’s small local hotel.

Afternoon – The Valley of Roses

After lunch, we continue towards Kelaat M’Gouna, famous throughout Morocco for its roses and fertile green fields.

The landscape changes again as we enter the cultivated valleys surrounding the town, passing villages, farms and plenty of local life along the way.

Our hotel sits on the edge of the palmeraie, with panoramic views across the town, surrounding countryside and old kasbahs.

Morning – A taste of local life

This morning, the bikes get a little rest. After breakfast, our local guide Brahim takes us on foot through the valley and into Kelaat M’Gouna.

It’s a chance to experience everyday Moroccan life away from the bike, exploring the lively town, local market and colourful shops. Afterwards, Brahim welcomes us to his family home for a traditional Moroccan lunch.

Afternoon – River crossings & mountain tracks

After lunch, we get back on the bikes and head towards the southern foothills of the High Atlas.

We pass through busy villages along the M’Goun River before reaching Boutaghra, where the real adventure begins. From here, a long off-road section takes us along rocky tracks, through dramatic scenery and across the M’Goun River itself.

The final section follows a rocky riverbed through a narrow gorge before we reach the asphalt of the Dades Valley.

From here, it’s a short ride to our beautiful hotel in Boumalne Dades, surrounded by the greenery of the valley. Time for a well-earned drink and a dip in the pool.

Morning – The famous Dades Gorge

After breakfast, we start the day with a ride up into the spectacular Dades Gorge, taking on its famous hairpin bends and enjoying the dramatic rock formations and views along the way.

From here, we leave the Dades Valley behind and head south into the Jbel Saghro Mountains, where the green valleys gradually give way to a much drier, more rugged landscape.

Afternoon – Lunch with a view in the Jbel Saghro

High in the mountains, we stop for lunch at a small local auberge in a spectacular setting, with incredible views stretching across the Jbel Saghro. It’s the perfect place to take a break and enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch.

Afterwards, we continue south through the remote mountain landscape towards N’Kob, passing small hamlets and dry riverbeds along the way.

Tonight, we stay in a converted 200-year-old traditional kasbah in N’Kob.

Morning – Morocco’s Monument Valley

Our final day on the bikes starts with breakfast at 08:00 and departure at 09:00. After refuelling in N’Kob, we head back into the mountains.

Winding tracks take us through an area we call “Monument Valley”, thanks to the enormous rocky formations rising from the surrounding landscape. It’s one of those places where photo stops become almost compulsory.

This is remote Morocco, with few villages and plenty of opportunities to see traditional Berber life along the way.

Afternoon – Picnic in the Jbel Saghro

There are no restaurants where we’re heading today, so we bring lunch with us and find a beautiful spot in the middle of the Jbel Saghro Mountains for a picnic surrounded by the vast, rugged landscape.

After lunch, we continue across the Jbel Saghro, the driest mountain range in the Atlas system. Bare rock, huge open spaces and an almost lunar landscape make this a spectacular final day of riding.

Eventually, we leave the dirt behind for the final 35 km on asphalt back to Ouarzazate, where cold drinks and the hotel pool are waiting.

A fitting end to five days exploring some of Morocco’s most remote mountains and valleys.
